Our materials

There are many types of materials used to manufacture our sun hats; from natural fibres derived from reeds and grasses to sustainably sourced Madagascan Raffia and our unique fabric and material blends. We are committed to using renewable resources in the creation of our products and we hope you will enjoy them!

Most women's hats are 58cm. Some women however prefer a 61cm size, depending on your head size or hair style. Men's hats are generally 61cm, however some men prefer a 58cm size. If your measurements fall between a size, round it up to the next size and then you are guaranteed a comfortable fit that can be adjusted.

FLEXIBRAID sun hats are ideal for an active lifestyle, squash flat in your luggage and they simply bounce back on arrival! Design for travel enthusiasts using a unique material geared for comfort and portability, Flexibraid is crush resistant, colour-fast and hand washable too.

Our internal size adjustments allow you to tighten your hat for the perfect fit, they are also extremely useful in windy conditions! Hats include either an inner drawstring, Velcro or Comfy-Fit elastic clip size adjustment.

Our UPF50+ certified hats have undergone extensive testing in our laboratories in Australia and have been specifically verified as meeting the strict UPF50+ regulations. Countries in the Middle East are known for their sunny climates and high UV levels have a focus on premium sun protection.
